In an old recipe book, Freimeisterkollektiv discovered the recipe for “Echt Stonsdorfer”, a spirit that captivates with its unusual combination of blueberries with bitter botanicals, anise and galangal. Inspired by this discovery, Lisa Bauer took up the challenge and created (ECHT) STONSDORFER, a modern interpretation of the classic recipe.
Lisa Bauer expanded the berry aroma by adding sloes and currants and reworked the ratio of the traditional botanicals for (ECHT) STONSDORFER. With a carefully selected range of ingredients such as galangal, calamus root, angelica root, fennel seeds, cinnamon flowers, anise, star anise and poplar buds, combined with bitter orange peel, lemon peel, sugar, fine wheat distillate, brandy and water, this liqueur presents a unique diversity of flavours.
